Recently, the lighting project for 400 meters of the auxiliary inclined shaft of Shaanxi Yulin Weiqiang Coal Mine Company was successfully completed. This underground "throat passage," which bears the heavy responsibility of transporting personnel and materials, has been transformed, and the once dimly lit transportation section is now completely new.
This renovation comprehensively improved the environment and controlled risks, delivering a "combination punch" of safety upgrades. The tunnel walls were uniformly painted and brightened, and reflective warning signs were placed every 5 meters along the route, forming a continuous visual guidance system. "Keep a safe distance" and "Beware of rear-end collisions" bilingual (Chinese and English) safety warning signs were added at key locations, ensuring safety reminders are always "online." Simultaneously, the lighting system was optimized to completely eliminate blind spots, making the tunnel passage clear and unobstructed.
Tunnel lighting is not only an improvement in the environment, but also a practical measure for building inherent safety. After the renovation, visibility was significantly improved, effectively alleviating driver fatigue and reducing the risk of transportation accidents at the source, thus continuously strengthening the foundation for creating a first-class standardized safety production mine.
Next, Weiqiang Coal Mine will take passing the national first-class standardization acceptance as its guide, continuously improve internal documentation and standardization both above and below ground, address shortcomings by focusing on key areas, and continuously improve underground safety facilities, ensuring that every roadway becomes a "safe road" for employees to travel safely.
