Recently, the Airfield Management Department of Chongqing Jiangbei Airport completed the upgrade of its airfield lighting intensity test equipment. The new equipment significantly enhances detection efficiency, injecting new technological momentum into the maintenance and support of the airport's airfield lighting system.

It is understood that airfield lighting is a core facility ensuring the safety of aircraft takeoffs and landings, with light intensity testing being a key part of daily operations and maintenance. The upgraded HANGDAKANG airfield lighting intensity test equipment, leveraging advanced sensor technology and automated testing processes, reduces the testing time per light fixture to between 5 and 40 seconds while ensuring testing accuracy. Compared to traditional testing equipment, which takes 3 to 15 minutes per light, this achieves "second-level testing." Furthermore, this equipment reduces the impact of manual intervention, can adapt to the airport's continuous operation requirements, and effectively breaks through the efficiency bottlenecks of traditional testing modes.
Next, the Airfield Lighting Department will leverage this equipment upgrade to conduct regular equipment operation training, maintenance, and calibration, continuously optimize the light intensity testing process, and build a solid technological foundation for the safe takeoff and landing of aircraft.
