After thorough research, demonstration, and democratic decision-making, the lighting project for the town's transit road was quickly included in the task list for improving the rural living environment and was efficiently implemented.
"Wu Guangbiao, a public-spirited villager from Shangyi Village, personally contributed 150,000 yuan to purchase 135 street lights, achieving full coverage of street lighting along Shangyi Town's transit road," introduced a relevant staff member from the Shangyi Town government. To further consolidate the strength of the villagers and innovatively promote the "fellow villagers" model, the town actively guided and encouraged residents to participate in rural governance and the construction of civilized practices. The town once again launched a donation initiative called "Light Up the Hometown Roads." The initiative received an immediate and positive response from the community, resulting in the donation of a batch of street lights. After orderly construction, all the lights have been installed and put into use, significantly improving villagers' nighttime travel conditions.
