On April 8, it was reported by Ningxia Construction Investment Group that its subsidiary Ningxia No.1 Construction Co., Ltd. has achieved significant progress in the Yinchuan Flower Expo Park Infrastructure Upgrade (Phase I) project. The nighttime cruise route lighting system and upgrades to four major pavilions have passed final inspection and begun trial operations, while renovations to the East Gate and South Gate visitor centers along with stage construction are in the final inspection stage.

With a total investment exceeding 83.97 million yuan, this new urban cultural landmark is poised to officially open to the public, offering dazzling night views and diverse leisure experiences. It will become a shining emblem of Yinchuan's integrated "night economy" and cultural life.
As a flagship "lighting project" for Ningxia's cultural tourism sector, the upgrade centers on "light art," creating a nighttime cruise route through the park. Featuring intelligent lighting systems integrated with landscape design, the route includes high-tech installations like luminous water screens and interactive projections. Visitors can board boats to glide across shimmering lakes, immersed in a "painting-like" experience.
The four upgraded pavilions employ dynamic lighting programming technology to synchronize architectural facades with natural scenery, transforming into "light art galleries" at night that offer round-the-clock cultural engagement spaces.
Evolving from a "flower-viewing destination" to an "all-day playground," the project also enhances visitor amenities. The East and South Gate centers now feature:
? Smart navigation systems
? Barrier-free facilities
? Parent-child interactive zones
significantly improving service convenience.
The renovated stage area can host large-scale performances and cultural events, with plans for regular music festivals and light shows-solidifying the park's transition from seasonal attraction to a vibrant, all-hours space combining cultural experiences, family entertainment, and nighttime consumption.
"Lighting projects don't just elevate urban aesthetics-they're strategic moves for Yinchuan's night economy," said Zhang Zhiyu, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of Ningxia No.1 Construction. The team fused technical innovation with cultural IP, incorporating regional Ningxia elements into lighting designs for distinctive tourism appeal.
During trial operations, nighttime cruises have already attracted over 50,000 visitors, boosting surrounding dining and retail sales by 30%.
