Recently, Haidu Daily reported that some public toilets in Fuzhou were completely closed after midnight, while others were open 24 hours a day. This incident attracted the attention of the Fuzhou Municipal Urban Management Committee (previously reported). Subsequently, the Fuzhou Municipal Urban Management Committee organized a meeting to implement and deploy improvements to public toilet services in the five districts, focusing on developing a 5.0 version of Fuzhou's public toilet management model and launching a new round of "toilet revolution" (previously reported). On the 9th, reporters learned from the Fuzhou Municipal Urban Management Committee that, to further improve the quality of urban public services, the public toilet maintenance project team of the Fuzhou Gulou District Environmental Sanitation Center installed nighttime guidance light boxes in all 124 sanitation toilets in the district, and all of them are now fully illuminated.

It is understood that the nighttime guidance light boxes installed in the Gulou District sanitation toilets utilize a combination of LED soft film and aluminum alloy frames. The soft film is printed with the "Public Toilet" logo and information such as opening hours.
A representative from the Gulou District Environmental Sanitation Center stated that the installation of nighttime guide light boxes is a significant step in improving public restroom services and promoting refined urban management. Going forward, they will further optimize the internal environment of public restrooms, improve elderly-friendly facilities, and strengthen intelligent management, aiming to continuously enhance citizens' quality of life and well-being, and to further enhance the role of these "small restrooms" in the city.
