The large screen of the Xuzhou District Municipal Integrated Energy Management System clearly displayed the operation of street lights on each road in the central urban area. The interface contents such as automatic adjustment of light sources, lighting alarms, remote control of switch lights, and operation monitoring are very eye-catching.
It is understood that the Xuzhou District Municipal Integrated Energy Management System was built by the Yibin Branch of China Tower Co., Ltd. The platform integrates urban lighting street lights into the Internet of Things through new technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and big data, and implements visual management, which can realize centralized control, dimming and timing, and fault diagnosis of street lights.
Xiong Gang, manager of the Energy Department of Yibin Branch of China Tower Co., Ltd., said: "This project was implemented in early September. It is planned to upgrade 262 power distribution cabinets in the urban area and connect them to the municipal integrated energy management system of Xuzhou District. At the same time, it is planned to transform more than 7,000 low-lumen street lamps into high-lumen street lamps and upgrade more than 2,800 magnolia lamps."
At the smart street lamp renovation site of Wangjiang Road, Zhaochang Street, four special operation vehicles are renovating street lamps in sections. Compared with traditional street lamps, smart street lamps can automatically adjust the brightness according to actual needs, reduce the brightness during periods when vehicles and pedestrians are sparse, achieve energy saving and consumption reduction, and make the monitoring and maintenance of street lamps more efficient.
