Since mid-May this year, the Tianjin Street Light Management Office has started a smart street light renovation project on the Youyi Road (Weidi Road to Heiniucheng Road) section, replacing all the original street lights on the road and improving the overall lighting level.
It is understood that a total of 99 new light poles were built this time. The newly built smart street lights are more energy-saving and environmentally friendly while increasing brightness. The light poles are equipped with large LED screens to facilitate the display of public service advertisements and provide a publicity atmosphere for important festivals and events in Tianjin. At the same time, smart street lights also have practical functions such as single-light control and water accumulation monitoring to provide safety protection for pedestrians and vehicles.
Since 2019, smart street lights have been gradually put into operation in Tianjin Yifeng District, Wudadao, Tianjin Station Square, Heping Road and other places. Their stylish appearance and convenient functions have been unanimously recognized by the people of Tianjin.
