Earlier, around the problem of street lights not lighting up, residents of Xizhangzi Community and Shabaozi Community repeatedly reported that these old street lights have been in disrepair for a long time, and most of them have lost their original lighting functions, which has added great safety hazards to residents' travel.
Zhangzidao Town has brought the mass discussion platform of "unblocking channels, gathering public opinion, promoting participation, and solving problems" to the doorsteps of residents, timely understanding actual needs and life expectations, and guided by the opinions of the masses, initially formulated a plan to repair and replace street lights.
In accordance with the idea of "party building leadership, mass autonomy, social participation, and multi-party governance", further discussions were held through "bench discussion meetings" and "resident discussion booths". The staff in the jurisdiction recorded various problems one by one, and organized grid members to "check" the street lights in the jurisdiction one by one according to the "order" needs of residents, held special meetings to discuss, formulate and improve solutions, and comprehensively replace and upgrade old street lights.
In order to put the street lights into operation as soon as possible, the construction unit staff worked overtime under the scorching sun. The staff of each jurisdiction followed up and supervised the whole process. So far, more than 200 solar street lights have been replaced in Zhangzidao Town.
The newly replaced solar street lights are like stars, dispelling the darkness, illuminating the rural lanes, and lighting up the residents' yearning for a happy life, greatly enhancing the residents' sense of gain and happiness, and adding a beautiful new landscape to the construction of a harmonious and livable Zhangzidao.
