On July 29, after more than a month of intensive construction, the Qili Village Interchange in Taohuajiang Town, Taojiang County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province has been illuminated, greatly facilitating the night travel of passing vehicles and pedestrians.
Qili Village Interchange is located in Qili Village, Taohuajiang Town. As an important section leading to Yiyang City, the average daily traffic volume is large. Due to the distance from the central urban area, there are no street lights installed, which brings inconvenience to drivers driving through this place at night. The public has a strong desire to install street lights.
Taojiang County Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau took the initiative to claim the task. Starting from late June, it organized the bureau's street light management department to carry out lighting renovation of Qili Village Interchange. During the construction process, the staff overcame the high temperature and rushed to meet the construction deadline, laying more than 1,500 meters of 3X25 aluminum cables and more than 1,000 meters of 4X50 aluminum cables; cutting 25 meters of road crossings, installing 50 wiring shafts, and newly erecting 40 7-meter-high street lamps; installing 425 wall washers (188 of which were colorful and 237 were monochrome), and 32 lawn floodlights, successfully completing the lighting renovation of the Qili Village overpass, which was put into use on July 29.
