Recently, Shao Liushun, Party branch secretary of Xingba Village, Xincheng Township, Yingjiang County, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, posted a new message in the work group: the newly installed street lights started to light up.
It turns out that the street lights in Xingba Village have caused inconvenience to people due to their long service life, serious weathering, and some damaged lamp heads. At the end of 2023, the Xingba Village resident working team actively coordinated with the higher authorities to spend 10,000 yuan on the work of the first secretary of the poor village, and purchased 13 solar street lights for the Xingba Villager Group and the Hehui Villager Group of Xingba Village. During the street lamp installation process, the village work team and the village "two committees" staff conducted multiple visits to listen to villagers' opinions, on-site surveys, analysis and research, etc., and finally formulated a street lamp lighting plan. At the same time, considering that the installation of public facilities should not affect the normal life of the villagers, the position, height, and lighting brightness range of the lights were specially surveyed and adjusted to maximize the convenience for the villagers. After installation and debugging, 13 newly installed street lights have been successfully lit.
Nowadays, whenever night falls, the street lights in Xingba Village light up one after another. This illuminates not only a "safe road" for villagers to travel, but also a "happy road" for villagers to take a walk and rest, and it is also the "way forward" for rural revitalization.
