Recently, many attentive citizens have discovered that the street lights on Xinhua North Road, Pinghu City, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province have changed their appearance, giving them a full sense of atmosphere and high-end, which adds a lot to Pinghu Economic Development.
Illuminating urban roads is not only a practical need to improve the taste of the city and display the city's image, but also a pragmatic move to benefit people's livelihood, satisfy public opinion, warm people's hearts, and promote the development of the city's night economy. Since August 2023, Pinghu Economic Development has carried out road lighting quality and efficiency improvements in batches on 19 roads including Xinhua North Road, Xingping 1st Road, and Pingshan Avenue, either replacing lamp heads, building or rebuilding street lamps, or spraying lamp poles. It is now fully completed, further broadening the public’s new horizons.
It is reported that in this road lighting quality and efficiency improvement work, a total of 1,379 sets of lamps were replaced and 541 sets of newly built and renovated street lamps. All lamp heads are LED lamps with longer life, higher light efficiency and lower energy consumption. In addition, since there are residential areas near Xinhua North Road and other roads, in order to avoid light pollution to the residences, this renovation adopted a high-low pole design and lowered the height of the light poles on the sidewalk side.
The lights are on and the roads are smooth. The "Happy Roads" that facilitate people's travel have outlined beautiful scenery in Pinghu Economic Development Zone, adding a unique style to Beirong New City. In the next step, Pinghu Economic Development will continue to keep a close eye on people's livelihood issues, take multiple measures to accelerate the road lighting project, use street lights to warm people's livelihood, and handle matters closely related to citizens' lives well, practically and meticulously.
