Rural road lighting is an important measure to improve the living environment and build beautiful countryside. This year, the Transportation Bureau of Hai'an City, Nantong, Jiangsu Province continues to include the rural road lighting project as a practical project for the people, and it has been completed as planned.
The lighting construction scope of the west extension of Huanghai Avenue: starting from the Jiaogang River Bridge in the east and ending at the intersection of Quya Road in the west. A total of 63 solar street lights have been installed on nearly two kilometers of road to better meet the traffic needs at night. So far, the street lights have been installed and can be put into normal use.
Mr. Chen, a nearby villager, said: "There were no street lights installed before, so it was dark at night. Now that street lights are installed, it is more convenient for us people to travel and the safety factor is higher."
The 2023 rural road lighting project was organized by the Hai'an Municipal Transportation Bureau and was constructed by the Urban Construction Group in two phases. A total of 1,225 solar street lights were installed on 45 kilometers of rural roads.
In the next step, the Hai'an Municipal Transportation Bureau will continue to implement the rural road lighting project, one of the municipal government's public services projects this year, to contribute transportation power to the construction of beautiful countryside.
