Wenzhou Sports Center Stadium, located at No. 6 Minhang Road, Lucheng District, undertakes the football group match of the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou. It covers an area of 57,422.81 square meters and has a construction area of 14,843.52 square meters. It was completed and put into use in 1997. There are 15,192 seats in the stadium seating area. The total investment in the Asian Games upgrading and renovation project is about 64.8126 million yuan. It is implemented by the EPC project general contracting method. The construction started on December 31, 2019. On October 12 last year, the upgrading and renovation project successfully passed the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.
Wenzhou Sports Center Stadium has an intelligent grass-raising system that embodies the intelligent Asian Games. There are 18 sensors under the lawn. By using the sensors, the temperature, humidity, pH and nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content of the roots of the lawn, as well as the light intensity, sunshine hours, and solar radiation is used to collect data, and then the data is transmitted to the data center of the cloud platform by mobile communication. It can be viewed directly on the display of visual terminal such as mobile phones and computers, and scientific maintenance is carried out according to the data to achieve the purpose of "smart grass raising".
Different from the lighting fixtures of the main stadium of Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center, which are installed on the horse track 40 meters above the ground, the Sports Center Stadium is equipped with 8 "Big Mac" lifting light poles, each 53 meters high (pole body 51 meters, plus lightning rods). 2 meters), weighs 19 tons, and each set of lamps and light stand weighs 4 tons. The design of 8 lift-type high-definition sports lighting poles of such a volume is rare in the country. The reason for choosing to install a lifting light pole is that there is no awning above the auditorium of the sports center stadium, and the light pole can only be set separately outside the venue due to conditions. Considering that Wenzhou is close to the coast and is affected by typhoons all year round, an eight-pole lift-type light pole scheme was adopted in the design to ensure the safety of the venue during the typhoon season.
A total of 296 sets of Masco LED1500W professional sports lighting fixtures were installed on 8 poles for venue lighting, 32 sets of LED600W lamps were used for auditorium lighting, and 24 sets of LED900W lamps were used for emergency lighting. At the same time, it is equipped with an intelligent dimming system, which can be switched with one key to meet the needs of different modes. It can meet the needs for the high-definition broadcast of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and take into account the needs of other comprehensive events and national fitness. The precise light control technology makes the lighting method more accurate and flexible. And energy-saving, patented glare control technology provides a more comfortable environment for athletes and spectators.
In addition, the upgrading and renovation project of the Sports Center Stadium reflects the concept of thrifty hosting games. The entire stadium fully utilizes the original building space and transforms the supporting and professional functional space suitable for the Asian Games through methods such as soft partitions. The waterproofing of the roof of the grandstand area will not be destructively transformed. After the original surface layer of the grandstand area is partially repaired, a new type of polyurea waterproof and wear-resistant special paint is applied to the surface.
