On August 15, the key project of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" Expressway in Guizhou Province-Xiushan (Guizhou-Chongqing boundary) to Yinjiang Expressway (Guizhou section) (hereinafter referred to as "Xiuyin Expressway") was officially opened to traffic. A total of more than 5,000 sets (pieces) of LED tunnel lights, LED street lights, and intelligent dimming systems, add luster to the traffic safety of the people and the economic development of the border area of Guizhou, Chongqing, and Hunan.
A magnificent road to stop poverty and lead to a happy future
Xiuyin Expressway starts at Shiliang Township, Songtao Autonomous County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, and ends at Langxi Hub Interchange in Langxi Town, Yinjiang County. The entire line is constructed according to four-lane expressway standards, with a total length of 52.896 kilometers.
As a major part of the Tongren Expressway planning network, Xiuyin Expressway connects G65 Baomao Expressway and G56 Hangrui Expressway. It has become a rapid connection between Tongren City and Northeast Guizhou into the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, the Changsha-Zhutan Economic Circle, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It has successfully connected many tourism resources along the route, and has contributed to the construction of the golden tourism channel in eastern Guizhou, southern Chongqing, and western Hunan, consolidating the effects of poverty alleviation, connecting rural revitalization, and giving full play to the impact of transportation construction on the economic development of Tongren and Guizhou, Chongqing, and Hunan. The economic integration of provincial and municipal borders plays a vital role.
Wholeheartedly build quality projects
The Xiuyin Expressway travels through mountainous areas, frequent rain, snow, the excessive temperature difference between day and night, and other complicated conditions, as well as the closed space inside the tunnel, which causes the car exhaust, oil, dust, and other substances to easily adhere and deposit. This raises questions about the quality of road and tunnel lighting. Extremely stringent requirements.
In terms of lighting plan, the team worked out appropriate lighting spacing according to the topography and width of the tunnel and set up corresponding enhanced lighting at the entrance section, transition section, and exit section. The design adopts LED lights of different wattages for mixed-light distribution lighting, with both sides a Symmetrical arrangement.
