LED Engin has nearly 30 employees with annual sales of around $ 10 million, focusing on providing ultra-bright, ultra-compact solid-state lighting solutions for professional markets such as entertainment lighting, UV, gardening, adjustable white and medical lighting applications.Its products are mainly used OSRAM optoelectronic semiconductors LED chip.

LED Engin will be integrated into the professional and industrial applications of the OSRAM SP business unit. According to OSRAM's second quarterly report for the fiscal year 2017, the second quarterly revenue from its special lighting (SP) business (including automotive lighting and specialty and industrial applications) increased by more than 8% in the second quarter of the year, benefiting from continued strong demand in the automotive industry %. Adjusted EBITDA profit margin increased to 16.2% (compared to 15.8% in the same period last year).
