When the OLED rear lights are off, the almost transparent chrome is fully integrated into the other chrome-plated parts of the vehicle. OLED rear lights open, it will release a very strong red light. These designs can also be added to the unique styling of the car.

Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) are more susceptible to heat, humidity, and environmental pressures than light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that are currently in a more advanced commercial phase. However, Japanese lighting manufacturers are still optimistic about the OLED rear tapping business in 2020, especially after the increase in thermal resistance.
