As night falls, bright street lights gradually light up on multiple sections of roads, such as outside the east gate of Guangfu Community, Changxing Island Street, Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, like bright stars inlaid in the night sky of the island, illuminating the "safe road" for people to travel.
In recent years, with the accelerated advancement of urban construction and industrial development in Changxing Island District, the number of newly developed areas has continued to increase, and the street lighting facilities in some sections are not in place. There are roads without lights, and there are lights that are not on. It is pitch black at night, and the safety of night travel has become a worry for residents.
In order to solve this problem and implement the work deployment of the District Management Committee to do practical things for the people in 2024, the District Urban Management Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, together with streets, communities, and community properties, conducted a survey on dark sections in key areas, and decided to implement street lighting installation projects on some sections of No. 12 Road in the Comprehensive District, sections outside the east gate of Guangfu Community, and some sections on the south side of Changxing Bay Community.
After nearly a month of construction, 83 new street lights on four sections of Changxing Island Street have been installed recently, with more than 3,000 meters of cables laid and 78 bases installed, greatly improving residents' nighttime travel conditions.
