From March 27, the Meishan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Sichuan Province launched the "Smart Street Light Type in the South Section of Shayuxing" plan at the South Gate Square of the Three Su Temple to collect opinions from citizens, nearby businesses and tourists. Opinions and suggestions were collected on site by distributing questionnaires and scanning QR codes. Citizens and tourists responded enthusiastically and actively participated, and more than 400 valid questionnaires were received on the same day.

Since the beginning of this year, the Meishan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has been based on asking the people for their needs and benefiting the people. It has formulated three systems: "System for Soliciting Citizens' Opinions on Urban Construction and Operation Management", "System for Reporting Urban Construction and Operation Management to Citizens", and "System for the Heads of Bureau-affiliated Units to Practice the "Front-line Work Method". Adhere to the "front-line work method" and demonstrate "passionate responsibility" with "practical work and performance competition".
As of April 3, the public was asked for opinions through "online + offline" at the same time, and a total of 1,642 questionnaires were collected, effectively collecting the "favorite street lights" of the masses.
In the total questionnaire, the Su Temple lamp won 1,264 votes with its unique antique shape, and 103 opinions were raised, most of which were to increase the brightness of street lamps, strengthen post-construction maintenance, and add signposts (such as toilet instructions) on lamp poles. 88% of citizens hope that the Three Su culture will be played on the LED screen of the lamp pole, 30.6% hope to play public welfare propaganda, 34% hope to play city propaganda, and 4% hope to play other things (historical stories, intangible cultural heritage skills, poems, etc.).
